The Local at JFK in Jamaica

This place during covid is like a ghost town. Thankful for McDonald's staying open in terminal 4 for those of us there late. It was nice to have quiet whilst there. Unfortunately not much to do because of things being closed. It also appeared that there were more TSA agents than passengers wandering around the terminal! 😂 Airport was very clean. Seats marked for social distancing.

An eerie experience. There were no signs of the usual summer crowds. I got off the airplane and out to transportation within 15 minutes. The customs and immigration officers I came in contact with were,all following safety protocols. Kudos.

Terminal 4 is a nice, modern facility - one whee everything works as it should. Terminal 1 seems to be a facility out of the 60s or 70s.

Right now with the pandemic situation, it's kind of messy. Like everywhere else people dont respect distance, kiosks are not being disinfected frequently enough, made a long line to check in my bag and when it was my turn the attendant just left saying she was done for the day and I waited for 15 minutes for someone else to take over but no one came so I had to get in other line

Not much people around cause of Covid19, everything was fast and smoothly

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is one of the largest airport in New York City! I have been to this airport plenty of times since the past decades, and the airport was great with varieties of shops and services! Nice and courteous staffs! Very spacious and tidy! Organized! Professional service! 👍

Only the coffee shops are open. If you just want coffee then go to Pete's. The line is much shorter than DD

Went to JFK & TWA Hotel to celebrate with family. Our sister and bro-in-law had their final arrival after 35++ years of service at DELTA. They said NY JFK was like a friendly family! ♡

I'm a first time flyer. It's really calm and easy. The workers there aren't really rude or bossy. I went through door 4, had to wait for like 10 minutes for my friend to show up. Went in and waited, they didn't tell or bother me. It was actually a lot less stressful then I originally thought.

Definitely a very busy airport. Chances of you making a flight when arriving 2 hours early are a 50/50 chance [I speak for early morning flights]. Although it seems to be enough time, the mornings tend to be very hectic. The kiosks are limited; out of 3 kiosks-- only 1 or 2 would be on to promote social distance. Then there're 3 attendants working in a section where the lines are about 50 people + waiting on line 🤔 Traveling post CoVid is very different.

Really really dead. Not a lot of employees now due to what I'm sure has to do with the virus and cutbacks. I did see a man outside wiping down things with a spray so at least they are cleaning things.

Plane spotters rejoice! If you had a choice of where your flight journey has a connection this is the best spot to go to! Being one of the biggest and highest traffic airports in the country JFK Airport is the melting pot of all airlines and aircrafts! Our team thoroughly enjoyed plane spotting here. We will be back again in the near future!

It was easy to travel between terminals. Most of everything is closed from corona virus

Simple enough for me to get around, since I live near it. Love taking the tram to the shuttle bus.

Very Large modern airport. Have time to get around. It's not that bad for its size but it is large and can take time to get from one Terminal to another. Lots of shopping and places to eat. Recommend eating in the city not the airport. Have a good safe journey and enjoy your travels.

Poor experience in Covid-19 time. No social distancing at all in JFK, at checking and less after security!!! Try not to get through the crowd that is waiting for its own stuff, impossible !!! But at least and for the 1rst time, it was fast...

My elderly mother was traveling from North Carolina & required the use of a wheelchair, much to my amazement the good folks couldn't have been any better considering this new normal of social distancing. My mother was treated great by the baggage handler but specially by the gentleman pushing the wheelchair. It was my first time using this much needed service and thank God 🙏 it all worked out great. Thanks folks at Delta terminal 4 at JFK👏👏👏👏👏

They are definitely doing their part on social distancing and sanitizing the airport, I first traveled on American and the flight was full, they gave you little bags with snacks and sanitizing wipes and the fight attendants made sure you keep your masks on. On the Delta flight was very spacious, not sure if everyone, if it was planned that way, but again the ladies made sure you will your masks

I travel in and out of JFK often and it's always quick and efficient. You can find anything and everything you need in that airport. The workers are always willing to help you find whatever you're looking for and very nice.

Airport is Very Good but due to COVID 19 everything was closed and obviously no rush at all

No matter how conjested airports tend to be, JFK always seem to have a grasp on crowd control. I always felt the time it took to enter the JFK expressway and to reach the terminal was always reasonable. The traffic guards do a good job rushing people through. Although it can be annoying it is reasonable as new yorkers can sometimes get too comfortable when dropping someone off. Im guilty of it myself, if i could, I would wait curbside until my family gets on the plane. That push and pull is just part of the airports ecosystem. Today the airport was eerily empty, but appeared to be very clean and I saw lots of the janitorial staff constantly wiping something. They had social distancing markers in place which most people respected. Of course there were those who like to swim upstream and defy social distancing measures... but what can you do. In the end I felt safe, I felt my family was safe and I dont believe I will feel uncomfortable next time i return.
